Back to FAQ's

DazzlerMax is a family of software products for producing interactive multimedia presentations, training courses, product catalogues and kiosk systems. All the products have been designed with ease-of-use in mind. No need to learn a programming or scripting language; you’ll be up and running in a fraction of the time you’d expect for a powerful multimedia authoring system.

DazzlerMax acts as the glue for assembling all your multimedia elements. Text, sound, pictures, video, animations, even Internet pages can be incorporated into your presentations. Just drag and drop the appropriate icon. It’s all accomplished with a few clicks of the mouse. Even TV-style 3D effects are possible.

When you’ve finished building, you can publish using the DazzlerMax Packaging Wizard. Delivering to diskette or CD, DazzlerMax pulls together all the elements of your presentation and creates an installation program ready for delivering to your customers, with no run-time royalties to pay.

You can publish for an Intranet or Internet site without having to buy and learn another program. DazzlerMax can create your presentations as HTML Web pages or you can use the power of the new DazzlerMax Java Player to free yourself from the limitations of conventional Web design. Back to FAQ's
DazzlerMax presentations are built up of Tasks, or screens, which are linked together. Each Task consists of both Actions and Responses. Actions are the things which happen in the presentation: showing a picture, playing sound, running a video clip, etc. The Responses tell DazzlerMax how the user will interact and navigate through the presentations; for example, by pressing buttons, dragging pictures around the screen, typing in information, and so on.

Each Response can link to any other Task in the presentation, so clicking a button might jump to a part of the presentation which shows a video clip of a presenter introducing the company and its products. Clicking on a Hot Spot on the same screen could link to a Task showing an animation of a piece of machinery with some text explaining how it works. Linking Responses to Tasks is done simply by dragging the mouse.

It takes less than 10 minutes to get started. You really will be making worthwhile presentations within the hour! DazzlerMax is entirely logical, and you use it like you think about it. If you want text: choose the text icon and type in the text. Done! If you want to add an image: click the image icon, choose the image you want and move it around on screen until you are happy. Done! It really is that easy.
Do I need experience in multimedia authoring?

    Back to FAQ's
    Most certainly not!
DazzlerMax is incredibly logical and intuitive. We stand by our claim that DazzlerMax is the easiest, quickest way into professional multimedia authoring. This is because we decided from the outset that authoring great titles is about ideas, concept, imagination and design, not the program that made it. This means that you, the author, gets to spend time making the title look great, rather than having to learn great chunks of code!
