| The important things to note are the Actions and Responses icons. An action is where you make something happen, like a picture or a sound, and a response is where the user interacts, like a button or a timed response. The Window icon (under Action) allows you to define how big your presentation will be in pixels, and where on the screen it will appear. Centered is usual. The Clear Objects action removes everything from the screen, giving you an empty area to work with. | ||||

Now you click on the Image Icon on the toolbar, and this adds a picture action to the current task. Like any action or response in Dazzler, double clicking the icon brings up the properties box, where you choose the image or file to display, and add any effects, transitions, transparent colours, etc. ![]() Now all you have to do is position it wherever you want on screen, and click OK. That's it, you are making multimedia! Of course, using the same method, you can now add sounds, video, buttons, anything you need. It's all up to you. If you've followed this simple introduction, you'll be able to use Dazzler right out of the box. |
