Dazzler features
The Java Gallery

This area lets you try out some examples of applications created using Dazzler and delivered through the Dazzler Java Player applet.

This applet, first released in Dazzler 4.0, has now been extended. The advanced data storage and processing features of Dazzler Deluxe have been added to this Java applet. In this way, your Dazzler Deluxe presentations can be played across the Internet on any platform, free of the limitations of HTML and without plug-ins. If it's important for your presentation to look as close as possible to how it looks on CD-ROM, then the Dazzler Java player is the one to choose.

There's an amazing range of features included: picture effects, form-filling, animation, user drag & drop… all available to you without having to write a line of Java code or script. All you have to do is select the Internet/Java option from the Dazzler Publishing Wizard when you're ready to deliver your presentation.

The Dazzler Player Applet has no platform specific code included, so that it will run on any Java platform, from PC to Macintosh to Network Computers to hand-held devices with no plug-ins.

To view these examples, you need to make sure that you have a Java enabled browser, such as Microsoft Internet Explorer, and the latest version of the Java Virtual Machine for your computer.

  • Play "4 In A Row"
  • Quiz (computer-based testing)
  • We will be adding more examples of how the Dazzler Java player can be used to deliver your presentations over the coming weeks. Stay tuned.
