From 1^st April 1998 Intelamedia has acquired the products and assets of ISC Media Systems following a management buyout by the founders of the company. The new company will focus on the development, sales and support of the popular Dazzler multimedia authoring and presentation software, signalling a new era for the Dazzler products.

The creation of Intelamedia is in response to changes that occurred earlier this year involving the handling of the Dazzler product range. ISC Media Systems, the developer of Dazzler, was originally acquired by Linotype-Hell in 1996 and later became part of the Heidelberg subsidiary company, Linotype CPS GMbH.
